Brush & Brew at Life Is Good
This curated creative escape is open to all skill levels and can be tailored for intimate groups or large gatherings. Whether it’s a date night, birthday party, team-building exercise, or even a solo art day, Brush & Brew hosts four daily sessions led by experienced artists. Guests are led step-by-step through the featured artwork, though everyone is free to put their own spin on it to take home.

This mobile art studio hosts Paint & Sip events regularly at various venues, always featuring a set painting as inspiration for guests. Recent sessions have been hosted in Melkbos, Constantia, Haasendal, and Hout Bay, with each offering different venues, artwork, and prices.
All sessions include all necessary paint materials and many complimentary pretzels; some include meals and welcome drinks. Events happen all throughout the greater Cape Town area, and interested parties are encouraged to keep an eye on the calendar to find one that suits them.

Paint And Sip With Music
This travelling company takes away the stress of following a guide, allowing guests to paint freely at their own pace and with their own ideas while enjoying an evening of drinks, food, and live music. All art and painting materials are included, with a focus on a laid-back, social atmosphere for everyone involved.
The next session is being hosted at Cafe Roux, the intimate live music venue with a cosy fireplace, best known for platforming up-and-coming South African artists and hosting some of the area’s biggest acts.

The Studio, based in Milnerton, hold monthly Paint & Sip experiences on the first Saturday of every month. Ideal for those wanting to create their masterpiece with a cocktail in hand, these sessions are beginner-friendly, guided by local artists, and designed for relaxing self-expression.
Each ticket includes access to all necessary art materials, a 2-hour workshop, and a welcome cocktail. Platters and jugs are available for pre-order. All proceeds go to Phoenix Sports Academy, The Studio’s very own NPO that promotes youth participation in sports and art.

Canvas and Craft
This cosy corner studio regularly hosts art classes, workshops, and full-day creative events for all ages to create something. Weekly beginner art classes are guided by local artist and co-founder Jo-Anne Pentz and focus on drawing and painting, while specialised workshops vary depending on which guest artist is leading. Every week, the space hosts artists of all kinds who bring their own materials to pursue in-progress creative projects in a supportive, self-paced environment.

Art & Drinks at The Silo Hotel
The Silo Hotel’s Rooftop Bar gives guests a skyline view of the V&A Waterfront as they enjoy an array of wines, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks – ideal for watching a sunrise or sunset with a drink in hand. As it sits just above the Zeitz MOCAA, visitors can move from the museum’s avant-garde contemporary art exhibitions to the fine dining experience just above.
For the winter season, Zeitz is showcasing the work of local and international artists, with a wide variety of styles and subject matter. From works that engage with the life of anti-Apartheid activist Albie Sachs to pieces that explore reconnecting with one’s ancestral roots, the museum is one of the premier destinations for art lovers in the city.

This winter, Spier Hotel invites guests to experience their acclaimed food and wine, massive modern art collection, and plenty of leisure activities. Their award-winning Stellenbosch wines include acclaimed reds, whites, and blends, while their historic Old Wine Cellar exhibits a rotating cast of works by contemporary artists.
