Healing Earth Wellness Escape
Presented in collaboration with luxury wellness brand Healing Earth, this monthly wellness escape starts with a refreshing dip at Saunders Rock just below the hotel, before warming up with a steamy sauna session. Then join a guided yoga session at the five-star-rated studio House of Yoga, followed by brunch at the health-conscious restaurant Wildsprout.
Next is Healing Earth’s Beauty Kitchen experience, where participants make their very own body scrub to take home, while learning more about ingredients, scents, and how these products are made.
Those who want to extend the experience can stay at the President Hotel overnight for an indulgent, restorative staycation. The package includes breakfast, welcome herbal tea, a Healing Earth gift, the full Wellness Retreat and brunch, dinner and a 60-minute holistic full-body massage.

In Residence by Zarah Cassim
In collaboration with Art School Africa, the President Hotel in Bantry Bay is opening a brand-new art exhibition by local painter Zarah Cassim. The works, displayed in the halls and on the walls of the luxury accommodation, use oil paint to explore colour, form, movement, and more.
A graduate of UCT’s Michaelis School of Fine Art, Cassim has exhibited her work across the country and internationally, including in Spain, France, and Australia. The pieces in the hotel’s In Residence series explore how places remain in our memory as details begin to fade. As such, the landscapes are elusive and uncertain, resembling only the idea of a particular space or subject.
The statement piece is The Dance I, a sprawling work that uses shades of red, purple, and yellow to convey this feeling of abstract space. In Residence also features smaller works by Cassim, including Sherbet, Berry and Bleed, ranging from paint on canvas to Fabriano paper, showing her artistic progression.
Cassim’s exhibition is the latest edition of In Residence, a joint venture between the President Hotel and creative non-profit Art School Africa. The series brings art out of galleries and museums into more everyday spaces, making it more accessible and connecting artists with new audiences they may not have reached before.

Weekly Dining
Wednesdays are dedicated to the hotel’s younger guests, with every adult meal including a complimentary kids’ pizza experience. Little ones choose their own toppings, watch it get made, and get to enjoy a wood-fired pizza while adults indulge in their meals.

Every Thursday, the hotel invites couples to enjoy a romantic, three-course dinner under the stars. Each course includes a paired drink, and the menu is being updated for the summer weather. In case of bad weather, the experience moves indoors, where guests still have a view of the stars over the Atlantic.

It’s never too early to plan for the Christmas period, and the President Hotel has already released its dedicated programme to celebrate the season.
The festive season arrives with an Afternoon Tea, as guests indulge in a seasonal selection of sweet and savoury treats served in the familiar setting of The President.

Christmas Eve takes guests on a culinary journey through the Cape, bringing together locally sourced farm-fresh produce, West Coast seafood and the smoky flavours of a traditional South African braai.
