Returning for the third year, Best Day Out brings a selection of live music, activities, food & drink vendors, market stalls, and lifestyle brands for an all-day, all-ages event in the Company’s Garden. Set against the backdrop of Table Mountain, attendees enjoy a true festival experience without leaving the heart of Cape Town.
Here’s everything festivalgoers need to know.

More about Best Day Out
After growing to almost 1,500 visitors in 2025, the team behind Best Day Out is looking to make 2026 even bigger and better. With the event rounding out November, it’s a great way for families, friends, and solo travellers to kick-start the summer and begin celebrating the festive season.
No live musicians or DJs are yet confirmed for this year’s Best Day Out. Last year, DJs Mighty, Disco Dez, Roastin’ Record, and Phanny took over the main stage, alongside a diverse group of live musicians, including Haiku Haiku, Yellow House, Yndian Mynah, and Kayla The Crow.
Most of the vendor lineup is yet to be announced, although Margherita Club has officially joined to serve fresh, handcrafted Neapolitan pizzas as visitors take in the day’s entertainment, shops, and activities.
Another highlight is the Company’s Garden setting. A fan-favourite among the Mother City’s residents and tourists, the spot features lush greenery, open-air views of Table Mountain, and easy access to the rest of the inner city. It’s an ideal choice of venue for connecting and celebrating the start of summer under the African sun and blue skies.
Guests can also expect a curated selection of lawn games, family-friendly activities, food & beverage trucks, picnic spaces, a dedicated kiddies’ section, a vinyl fair, and several retail vendors with locally produced goodies.
