About the South African Lipizzaners

The South African Lipizzaners are one of the only performing Lipizzaner teams in the world (and the only on the African continent) and are a registered Non-Profit Organisation (NPO). All funds raised through performances go directly toward the care, training, and preservation of this rare and historic breed in South Africa, as well as the development of young South African riders.

The Dancing Through the Decades show features timeless classical elegance alongside the feel-good beats of the ’60s, ’70s, ’80s, and beyond. The spectacular dancing white horses will have you tapping your toes, clapping along, and smiling from start to finish. Think flowing manes, swinging tails, groovy tunes and a whole lot of Lipizzaner magic.

This indoor, family-friendly performance is the perfect evening out, with food and drinks available on-site and fun waiting around every corner. Whether you’re bringing the kids, the grandparents, or just your love of good music and great horses, there’s something here for everyone.

Attendees can also feed the horses carrots after the performance, or even visit the on-site restaurant for refreshments before or after the performance.
