Get your dancing shoes ready for a festival of fun at Capegate Shopping Centre on 3 & 4 May. Set outside Entrance 2 under a bedouin tent, Flavour Fest is revving up to be a jam-packed event, offering a huge variety of delicious food, live music, DJs, and games for all ages.
This is the perfect way to spend at least part of the weekend with your loved ones, and spanning the day and the evening, it should fit into any schedule. Plus, if you need anything from the shops, Capegate Shopping Centre is right there to assist you. Here’s what you can look forward to:
Fantastic Food Vendors
From savoury street food to mouthwatering desserts, there’s something to satisfy every craving. Some of the many food vendors include hearty and fragrant curries from Cape Malay House, Touch of Creole bringing you authentic Cajun cuisine, Truck Norris for smash burgers and other fast food faves, Mexican eats courtesy of Taco Mel, and more.
Delightful Drinks
Choose from an array of fine wines, craft beers, and speciality spirits served at the bar spaces. Sip and sample unique brews, and savour velvety wines using your complimentary branded Flavour Fest glass.
All guests will be given three wine samples on arrival, from which they can choose their complimentary glass of wine. Look out for Darooca Tequila, Flare Beverages, Leeuwenkuil Wine, Vergelegen Wines, Tipsy Gypsy Cocktail Bar, Amarula Gin, Victoria Gin, Jack Black, and Devil’s Peak.
Lekker Live Music Acts and DJs at Flavour Fest
Groove to the rhythm of live music performances that set the stage for an unforgettable day and night of fun. The DJ will keep the beats going between bands, to keep guests moving and grooving. Early B, known for his infectious energy and catchy tunes, will headline the Flavour Fest with a dynamic live performance. DJ Justin Vega opens.
Music acts Nadia Louw, Damian Beer, Eva Morgan, Desmond Wells, and others will keep crowds entertained throughout the night.
Comforts and Cool Vibes
Guests can relax with friends and family in shaded area tents, inviting open-air areas on the lush grass, and demarcated, well-catered smoking sections.
