Whether you’re into gaming, comics, or dressing up as your favourite character, this event is a must-visit.
Here’s what you can look forward to:

Meet The Faces Behind the Characters
Comic Con Cape Town 2026 is once again stacked with activities, events, and entertainment for fans from all sides of pop culture. There will also be many familiar faces gracing the convention floor, with the opportunity to take pictures with your favourite heroes and villains from anime, Harry Potter, and beyond.
These celebrities all feature on live panel discussions to answer questions about their respective careers, and can be booked for autographs and photo opportunities throughout the weekend.
Guests include Christopher Sabat, known for the English voices of Prince Vegeta from Dragon Ball Z and Roronoa Zoro from One Piece, and many more. Irish Actoer Evanna Lynch, best known to millions as the unforgettable Luna Lovegood in the Harry Potter film series, makes an appearance.
All of these actors, and part of the supporting cast of One Piece‘s second season, will appear together on the Main Stage to discuss anime, the show’s local production, and answer fan questions.

Comic Con Cape Town Main Stage
Fans can participate in Q&As with local and international film and series celebs, and enjoy both fun and educational panels. One of the highlights of the Main Stage programme is the daily Cosplay competitions and the announcement of the Cosplay Champs winner.
There is also a second, smaller pop content stage on the Ground Floor this year, which is because there’s so much to learn about and have fun with that it couldn’t all fit a single stage.

All Things Pop Culture in Artist Alley
The undisputed heartbeat of any Comic Con is its Artist Alley, and in 2026 Comic Con Cape Town’s Artist Alley is one to remember. In conjunction with FanCon, Comic Con Cape Town has secured an incredible line-up of local and international artists in the comic scene.
At the Artist Alley Stage, fans can watch renowned local and international comic artists participate in sketch battles, live draws, panels, interactive Q&As, industry talks, and more.
Featuring artists include Adam Kubert, Jim Cheung, Lara Braga, Rob Levi, Stephanie Lavaud, Warren Louw, Sean Izaakse, Anand Ramcheron, Bushy Wop, Johnny Allison, Keith Vlahakis and Sanele Qwabe.

Cosplay Central – Characters Come To Life
Cosplaying (dressing up as fan favourite characters from across pop culture) is a staple of the Comic Con experience, allowing enthusiasts to express themselves through design, performance, and dedication. To celebrate this, Comic Con Cape Town is hosting a series of competitions to recognise the best cosplayers throughout the weekend and encourage everyone to join the fun.
Comic Con offers appearances by cosplay stars, daily casual competitions open to everyone, and a main contest featuring top handmade costumes judged for quality. Overall, the event encourages all attendees to participate in cosplay as a fun and creative form of self-expression.
