The ever-popular Spier Light Art exhibition returns to the Stellenbosch wine farm from 6 March – 6 April 2026, transforming the working farm into an immersive night-time adventure. Explore the exhibition at your own pace and experience light in a new way. Here’s everything you need to know.

All About This Year’s Spier Light Art Exhibition
The annual Spier Light Art exhibition showcases a variety of artworks centered around light, and is set against the darkness of the night sky, making for a beautiful contrasting experience.
Walk along winding pathways as artworks emerge from the night in playful, poetic, and provocative ways. Set among vineyards, the dam, river, and the historic buildings of the farm, the exhibition explores how light shapes memory, place, power, and possibility.
With no fixed route to follow, Spier invites you to set your own pace, look closely, and experience light as something not just seen but felt.
Entry to Spier Light Art is free, but booking is essential. This year, they have also introduced additional ticketed food experiences so you can plan your evening, whether that’s a burger, pizza, picnic, or relaxed sit-down dinner.
