The Kirstenbosch Summer Concert Series is back! The lineup for this iconic summer must-do has just been announced, and highlights include stalwarts such as Goldfish, Prime Circle, Mi Casa and the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra, as well as established stars such as Jeremy Loops and Matthew Mole and other popular and emerging artists.

Since the 1990s, Kirstenbosch concerts have become a cherished tradition, combining world-class music with the beauty of nature. It’s the perfect way to experience Cape Town’s vibrant summer atmosphere.

Mi Casa

South African house music trio, Mi Casa, have taken the world by storm with their infectious blend of deep house, jazz, and soul. Formed in 2011, the group features the incredibly talented Dr. Duda (producer), J’Something (vocals), and Mo-T (trumpet). With chart-topping hits like ‘La Vida’, ‘These Streets’, and ‘Turn You On’, Mi Casa has become a household name in the global music scene. Despite having been based in California for the last few years, Cape Town will always be home to this incredibly talented pair. Dominic Peters and David Poole create dance music containing elements of house, pop, jazz and African music, carving a distinctive sound that blends infectious rhythms with live instruments, particularly saxophones and bass guitar. Although they’ve played in clubs and at festivals all over the world, they’ve stated that Kirstenbosch will always be one of their favourite venues.

The Greatest Love of All starring Belinda Davids

Calum Scott: The Avenoir Tour

Calum Scott is returning for another tour of SA, again reaching Cape Town and Durban, and also now with his first show in Pretoria. The global hitmaker returns for his much-anticipated return for the ‘The Avenoir Tour’.

Multi-platinum-selling singer/songwriter Calum Scott first toured South Africa back in 2018 in support of his “Only Human” album, seeing thousands of local fans rushing to experience his first live performance in South Africa. In 2022 and 2023, Calum toured again across the country, cementing his love for SA with ongoing fan support.

Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra

One of South Africa’s most prestigious orchestras, the CPO brings symphonic brilliance to the natural stage of Kirstenbosch, featuring German bandoneonspecialist, Lothar Hensel, with his rendition of a selection of Argentinian tango composer, Astor Piazzolla’s works from Adios Nonino to Libertango.
