Top Cape wines will be exhibiting
Taste the latest offering and award-winning vintages at the Simon’s Town Wine Festival. Confirmed wine farms joining the event are Bon Courage Wines, Jordan Wines, Stellenbosch Hills, Stettyn Family Vineyards, Eagle’s Cliff Wines, Brewine, Big 5 Wines, and many more. Proudly Cape Town craft brewery Shackleton as well as South Beer will also be there to serve cold brews on tap.
Dine on canape platters to pair, plus live saxophone music by Matthew Reid
The culinary team will be serving a selection of canapes and snacks throughout the evening. Saxophonist Matthew Reid promises a programme of bluesy tunes to set the mood. Read more about Matthew here.
Stay over at the Willets Boutique Hotel
Looking to stay over? The wine festival is hosted at the historic Victorian-style Willets Boutique Hotel, tucked right in the heart of Simon’s Town. The hotel was originally built in 1828 with the addition of the front façade in 1898, and has been lovingly restored and refurbished.

Did you know that the history of Simon’s Town dates back to around 1650, as a strategic naval base and harbour? You’ll find out about all the historical trivia and the stories behind the beautifully preserved buildings, a colourful military past, and a rich and culturally diverse heritage at the event.
The Simon’s Town Museum was built in 1777 as the winter residence for the Dutch East India Company Governor at the Cape. This museum in Cape Town collects and exhibits the cultural history of the people of the seaside village.
