It’s time to whisk up some Christmas cheer at Willowbridge Shopping Centre’s Jingle Bread Bash, one of Cape Town’s sweetest festive activities for kids. This delightful holiday workshop running from 13 to 21 December invites little bakers to build and decorate their very own gingerbread house, complete with a chef’s hat, apron, and a box of merry goodies to take home.
The Jingle Bread Bash is a wonderful way to get into the spirit of the season. Limited spaces are available, and sessions are filling up fast. Here’s what you need to know.

What to expect at the Jingle Bread Bash gingerbread house decoration workshop
Each 45-minute session at the Jingle Bread Bash is thoughtfully crafted to delight young creators. Kids are welcomed with their own festive crafting station, complete with a silver square cake tray, a brown gift box, a personalised chef’s hat, and a disposable apron to keep outfits mess-free.
The magic begins as each child receives a full Gingerbread House Kit, featuring ready-made gingerbread walls and rooftop tiles, royal icing “snowflake sugar glue”, and colourful candy cane confetti to decorate with.
Friendly helpers are on standby to guide little bakers as they construct their delicious masterpieces, making it an ideal activity for beginners and enthusiastic decorators alike. Parents can take advantage of complimentary parking while the children work their festive magic.
With only 20 participants per session, the experience feels personal, relaxed, and wonderfully Christmassy – perfect for families looking to create sweet seasonal memories.
How to book tickets + need to know before you go
Jingle Bread Bash is open to children aged 3-12. Four slots are available per day, with a fifth slot available on Saturdays & Sundays. Tickets cost R150 per child and can only be purchased online via Quicket.
