From Arendelle’s icy castles to Coco’s colourful Land of the Dead, audiences journey alongside Mickey Mouse and friends through magical realms in this performance that blends world-class skating, acrobatics and beloved Disney storytelling. Disney on Ice: Mickey’s Search Party
The franchise-wide adventure follows Mickey Mouse & friends on a magical quest to find Tinker Bell, as they follow clues from Captain Hook’s treasure map through immersive Disney worlds. Whether it’s Moana‘s islands, the icy landscapes of Frozen, or Andy’s room from Toy Story, each world is carefully crafted with practical and video effects to create an experience perfect for anyone who loves Disney.
Viewers are taken across the Marigold Bridge with Miguel from Disney●Pixar’s Coco to experience the film’s vibrant spirit realm, as skeletons dance atop swaying poles over the audience. Other highlights include seeing Belle in the sky as the enchanted chandelier comes to life, joining Buzz and Woody as they recruit the Green Army men for a daring rescue mission, and singing along with Elsa as she creates her kaleidoscopic palace straight from the iconic movie scene.
Other fan-favourite films like Aladdin and The Little Mermaid are also included in the show, as each world is woven into the next in a medley that takes viewers on a journey through their childhood. Everyone is invited to watch, laugh, sing, and experience classic Disney movies like never before.
The show runs for approximately 90 minutes, with a short intermission. As part of the experience, safe theatrical fog, strobe lights, and special effects are used throughout.
Babies in arms and children under two years sitting on parents’ laps MUST have a purchased ‘babes-in-arms’ ticket at R100pp. Children two years and older must have a purchased SEATED ticket.
