A party thrown by a collection of Cape Town’s most diverse nightlife collectives, Sheer City celebrates dance music and LGBTQ+ culture with an inclusive, queer-friendly atmosphere and floor-rumbling, foot-thumping electronic music.

Bollywood Night

Organised by Brown Time, Bollywood Nights is all about drawing a big crowd to sing every word to iconic Bollywood anthems, heavy basslines, and unskippable hits. Beyond the expected stuff, DJs spice up the night with modern edits and Punjabi club bangers, while Harry’s serves desi food all night long to keep with the theme.

Amateur Hour, a versatile production company known primarily for making independent films, organises the event. All proceeds from ticket sales support the group’s film productions.
