Fitness Celebrity Kayla Itsines Comes to Cape Town for Motherkind PowerHER Fit Fest

Presented by local health brand Motherkind, the PowerHER Fit Fest gives women a full day of premium wellness experiences, workouts, important conversations, and a platform to connect with like-minded ladies. Hosted at the scenic Allée Bleue Wine Estate in the Cape Winelands, this summer’s event celebrates the strength in womanhood.

The programme starts with several talks and panel discussions on health, finances, and important women’s topics. These Pulse Talks bring together short, interactive conversations with some of the most respected names in South African lifestyle and fitness.

Speakers include Motherkind founder Rechelle Kloeck, fitness entrepreneur Uleen Fourie, content creator Taryn Louch, NGO owner Savannah Cozzi, and Investec’s Elizabeth Fick and Tracey Ward, with former Miss South Africa Vanessa Carreira joining media personality Tarryn Kay for the final chat of the afternoon.

Women can also wander through the PowerPARTNER Village for a curated selection of wellness & beauty brands, product samples, interactive experiences, healthy refreshments, nutritious food, and Motherkind’s smoothies, collagen-infused drinks, and four new flavours of Kind Energy.

The evening kicks off with the headline attraction: a workout with Kayla Itsines. A world-famous Australian fitfluencer and co-founder of the globally recognised Sweat fitness platform, Kayla has helped millions of women build strength through accessible training programmes. Her debut visit to South Africa allows local ladies to experience one of her sessions live for the first time, alongside Sweat1000 trainers and fitness coach Monique Lopes.

After sweating out the stress, the focus shifts to a fun-filled after-party where everyone can let loose with local singer-songwriter Lady Zamar, best known for her song Collide. She is joined by even more DJs and artists, including Amy Jones, Roxy Louw and Mia, for a groovy ending to the evening.
