Join a fun five-kilometre park run every Saturday morning at 8am, surrounded by breathtaking vineyards and stunning views. The Moody Lagoon restaurant is open from 8am too, so attendees can enjoy a coffee and breakfast afterwards if they so wish.

Ring in the weekend with bottomless bubbly and mimosas

Looking for fun things to do with friends and family over the weekend? Start the day the lazy way as you grab a delicious brunch and orange juice with an exciting twist.

Every Saturday and Sunday morning, as well as on public holidays (excluding Christmas Day), the Moody Lagoon Restaurant at Benguela Cove offers bottomless bubbles and bottomless Mimosas to commence the day in a relaxing style. Sit back and enjoy the panoramic vistas of the Palmiet mountains, Bot River Lagoon, and the Atlantic Ocean in one of the best waterfront restaurants near Hermanus.

Live Music Sundays

Sundays at Benguela Cove just got better. Listen to gentle jazz while soaking in sea, lagoon and mountain views, native birdlife and amazing art and sculptures.

Young and old can let loose at the open-air adventure golf course

Kids and adults can try a dose of competitive fun with the mini golf course that offers plenty of thrills, challenges, and laughs. With only a ball, putter, and skill, the game aims to get around the outdoor course in as few attempts as possible. And to work your way through the various pirate challenges that you will encounter on your way. 

Pirate Adventure Golf Course is available for kids’ birthday parties, team-building events, schools or families looking for fun activities to spend an afternoon in the Winelands. The space is fully licensed, and food and light snacks can be ordered.

This adventure golf venue does not offer child supervision, but parents and supervising adults are welcome to join and supervise as spectators. Babies enter FREE.

Benguela Cove offers an array of activities to keep its guests entertained. As it is a vineyard, it would be silly not to consider the variety of wine-tasting opportunities available, from flagships and Cap Classique to a sabrage experience and scenic boat trips on the lagoon to enjoy the estate’s wines. Visitors can also indulge in a unique wine-blending experience that will leave them with a newfound appreciation for the vineyard’s offerings.

Guided tours are available for those who wish to delve deeper into the vineyard safari and cellar, while a pontoon cruise provides guests with an opportunity to learn about the surrounding waters. Art Exhibitions

The Benguela Galleries are filled with unique art including sculptures, paintings and drawings. There is no entrance fee required, and the spaces feature the works of a variety of known and up-and-coming South African artists.
