St Luke’s Combined Hospices, a leading provider of palliative care in the Western Cape, is hosting their first Padel for a Cause fundraising initiative – Padel for Palliative Care.
This regional padel competition will run from 8 March 2026, with matches played online and across divisions, culminating in the Finals Event on Saturday, 16 May 2026. The tournament is expected to attract over 1000 registered players, alongside families, supporters, corporates and the broader community all united to raise vital funds for hospice and palliative care services.

About the Work St Luke’s Does
St Luke’s Combined Hospices provide specialised community-based hospice and palliative care to vulnerable patients and their families with life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses. This is offered through an Interdisciplinary Team approach (IDT) providing quality medical, psycho-social, spiritual, and bereavement care to the greater Cape Town area and its communities.

Entry to the tournament can be done through the MatchMaker app. By searching for “Padel 4 Palliative – St Luke’s” and choosing your tournament category, you will be entered into the contest for the finals on 16 May 2026.
