Only good vibes are on the cards at Sunset Events’ outrageously jolly silent disco in Cape Town. Featuring some of your favourite tracks and dance moves, this roving silent disco takes place at some of the city’s best beaches and rooftop venues. Head along on your own to meet like-minded others or gather your friends and family to experience silent disco together.
How does Silent Events’ silent disco work?
On arrival, ticketholders receive a headphone to use throughout this fun and friendly group setting. Guests can connect to up to three DJs at the event which presents a range of dance genres such as deep house and Afro house, pop classics, and tech tunes. Each channel lights up a different colour on the side of the headphones i.e. Red, Blue or Green for other DJ options. The system works on UHF radio so it doesn’t interfere with Internet or Bluetooth and the headphones don’t work without our brilliant transmitters.
Silent sunsets in Cape Town
Silent Events also hosts Silent Sunset events in Cape Town beaches such as Camps Bay on selected afternoons. End the workday on the sand with tunes to set the mood for our epic sunsets. Do note that the event runs on a public beach, and public consumption of alcohol is not permitted on Cape Town beaches. Ride-sharing and the use of UBERs are recommended as parking is generally limited along the beachfront.
