One&Only Cape Town’s luxury grillroom is celebrating Heritage Week with a special braai board, keeping with ROOI’s tradition of incorporating South African influences into fine dining.
Here’s everything foodies need to know.

More about ROOI Heritage Week
Inspired by the Cape’s pincushion protea, One&Only Cape Town continues to reimagine the braai and its love of both community and food as a gourmet, luxurious dining experience with ROOI Heritage Week. The menu features many braai board favourites, prepared by professional chefs and made with high-quality, sustainably sourced ingredients from local suppliers.
Guests can pick from a variety of sides, including garlic focaccia and roosterbrood, cabbage & carrot coleslaw, potato and three bean salads, fiery chakalaka, creamy pap, grilled tenderstem broccoli, and a classic grilled corn on the cob.
The main attraction is undoubtedly the braaivleis, all cooked using ROOI’s premium, world-class Josper Charcoal Ovens. From wagyu boerewors and slow-cooked wagyu riblets to traditional lamb chops, peri-peri chicken thighs, and apricot-marinated yellowtail, meat-lovers are sure to enjoy what’s on the menu. Vegans can indulge too, with an exotic mushroom sosatie made especially for plant-based diners.
For dessert, guests can indulge in a selection of three local cheeses with crackers and baked sago pudding, served with special cinnamon ice cream.
