Afro-pop sensation Nomabotwe is touring Cape Town for a special live concert on Saturday, 3 May. Music lovers can look forward to an intimate soundscape of her new album, ‘Hamba Ungemi’. The concert promises an evening filled with heartfelt storytelling, dynamic vocals, and an electrifying atmosphere.

More about Nomabotwe
With a long-running stint as a backup singer for the likes of Ringo Madlingozi, Rock Royalty, Arno Casterns and the late great Stompi Mavi, Nomabotwe independently recorded and released her debut album in November 2024. The release marks a new era in her career – from backup singer to lead, taking centre stage.
‘Hamba Ungemi’, which loosely translates to ‘Don’t stop, keep going’, is a testament to the many years of honing her craft. ‘Hamba Ungemi’ is set to offer a musical experience like no other, with a full piece band, storytelling behind the music and stellar supporting acts
The show at the Star Theatre is a special milestone which marks the first time she will be performing since her sold-out album launch show in Gqeberha.
