French Montana Headlines Landmark Rap Show at The Ostrich this December

AFROTRAX, in partnership with PLAYY Music, brings one of the most celebrated live performances in global hip-hop, French Montana, to local audiences this summer.

French Montana is one of the biggest names in hip-hop, kickstarting his career with an album that peaked at fourth on the Billboard 200 in 2013. The Moroccan-French rapper’s next big break came in 2017, when he released the single Unforgettable, featuring Rae Sremmurd’s Swae Lee. The track’s rhythmic and summery beat, along with Swae Lee’s catchy hooks and Montana’s rap verses, made it an overnight smash hit, eventually becoming certified Diamond and earning over 3 billion streams on Spotify.

Montana has remained one of the most recognisable names in international music, renowned for his collaborations and features with artists across genres, including Drake, The Weeknd, Post Malone, and Cardi B. His other chart-topping tracks include No Stylist, Pop That, and Ain’t Worried About Nothin’, cementing his legacy as one of the biggest hit-makers in modern hip hop.

The concert comes fresh off the heels of Night to Remember, the rapper’s latest full-length album. The tape is fully in collaboration with Max B, with whom Montana made the 2025 number-one single Ever Since U Left Me (I Went Deaf).
