What is Easter without an Easter Egg hunt or two? And of course again this year Cape Town has a few Easter Egg Hunt events lined up that offer all the things you would want to see from an Easter celebration, and more.

During each hunt, the children are given the chance to tap into their investigative sides and seek out some tasty Easter treats. Parents can also get their share of fun, with these egg hunt activities offering various opportunities for enjoyment and relaxation whilst the kids sniff out their sweet treats.

Easter Wonderland scavenger hunt at Spier: Hop your way through an Easter adventure

Spier Wine Farm is hosting an Easter scavenger hunt for the kids to enjoy. Children need to use their brains to solve a number of different clues as they complete their hunt. Using a map, the little adventurers must gather five clues before exchanging them for an Easter surprise.

While the children hunt, the parents can relax with wines to be enjoyed at various tasting stations along the route. The hunt is best suited to children aged 3-12.

Easter Egg Hunt at Luxe & Little

Get ready for a magical Easter celebration filled with sweet treats, creativity and adventure. Little bunnies of all ages are invited to join for a 90-minute Easter experience in the beautiful garden setting of Luxe and Little.

Your little one can enjoy adelightful Easter egg hunt around the garden, searching high and low for real chocolate surprises, as well as a hands-on cupcake decorating activity where kids can decorate their very own Easter-themed cupcakes to take home (or enjoy on the spot!).

Boschendal Easter Artventure

Boschendal is hosting an unforgettable Easter adventure for kids to enjoy. Each child enjoys a guided Easter egg hunt experience, complete with bunny ears and delicious chocolates to enjoy.

The hunt begins at the Werf picnic area, and other activities aside from the hunt include carrot toss games, egg & spoon races, and a bunny hop obstacle course. Kids will also be given a seed “egg” to plant at home.

All About the Carrot Quest Easter Zone

Easter at Durbanville Hills

Celebrate Easter with a memorable day out at Durbanville Hills, where scenic views, great wine, and family fun come together for a unique Easter experience.

The farm is inviting guests to take part in The Great Durbanville Hills Easter Trail – a self-guided adventure across the estate designed for both adults and kids.

Armed with your illustrated trail map, guests can explore five beautiful locations around the farm, from the olive grove to vineyard lookouts, collecting Easter stickers along the way and discovering hidden clues that lead you to the next stop.

For the kids, the adventure is all about the hunt. At each station they’ll search for a hidden Easter sticker to complete their trail map. Once all the stickers are found, they can hand in their completed map at the final stop to receive a sweet Easter treat.

For the adults, the journey includes a tasting experience at selected stops along the route. As guests make your way through the estate, they can enjoy a curated selection of Durbanville Hills wines while taking in spectacular views across the vineyards and towards Table Mountain.

Cavalli Estate

Cavalli Estate transforms into a refined Easter retreat this season, blending gourmet tradition with family-focused festivities. The morning kicks off with a traditional egg hunt, face painting, and a chance for children to meet the estate’s gentle resident pony, Sir Galahad.

The lunch menu features elevated holiday staples, including a hot cross bun and boerenkaas snack, pickled yellowtail, and a centerpiece of roast lamb shoulder with wild garlic aioli. The experience concludes on a high note with fired Dalewood brie and an intriguing dessert of white pear with bee pollen, all served against the backdrop of the Helderberg mountains.
