A playful masquerade speed dating event in the Southern Suburbs
If the idea of speed dating makes you squirm a little but you’re still a little curious, try Curated Connections’ fun masquerade-themed date night event running on Saturday, 10 June.
So what can you expect? A series of multiple mini dates with other fun-loving people, a welcoming drink, dinner, and tons of opportunities to strike up conversations and make new friends (or more!) with no pressure.
The atmosphere fuss-free and the event is geared towards grown-up folk in the 27-49 bracket. For an intriguing edge, the dress code is Masquerade themed and guests are required to wear a costume mask. This is the ultimate excuse to pop into a costume store and express with a touch of mystery and flair.

Away with the dating apps! Curated Connections is a new social concept that’s all about making real connections in Cape Town. The service is founded by Julia and Marlé, a dynamic duo with loads of dating experience.
Their aim is to provide a unique, safe, and authentic platform for singles to meet other like-minded singles. On offer are monthly memberships for their special events and matchmaking services. Membership is open for anyone above the age of 26 for males and females. The team maintains a high standard for candidates, therefore a screening process is in place if you wish to be part of the Curated Connections community.
They host regular singles events (such as cocktail evenings, quiz nights, picnics, sunset cruises, and walks/hikes) at different locations in Cape Town. Events are exclusive, which means that everyone who attends will need to complete our application form and go through the screening process. Members receive a special discount on all event tickets.
For personalised matchmaking, Curated Connections carefully select potential matches from their database based on your application. Once a potential match is narrowed down, the team contacts both parties and set up a date to meet up.
