Hosted during Women’s Month, this dynamic culinary art experience brings together food, art, wine, and creativity into one relaxing, social experience.

Marinda Engelbrecht & Petya Bartosch
The event starts with an interactive cooking demonstration, guided by acclaimed cookbook author and food storyteller Marinda Engelbrecht, focused on incorporating seasonal ingredients like fresh herbs, edible flowers, and botanical ingredients into everyday at-home cooking. Along the way, Marinda is sure to speak on her inspirations, drawn from classic South African food traditions, share tips, and reflect on her journey from theatre director to TV presenter and beloved author.
After the cooking experience, guests get their creative juices flowing with a guided Paint & Sip session led by photographer and artist Petya Bartosch. Inspired by the ingredients used in the previous workshop, attendees turn from chefs to artists with their own interpretation of historic painter Gustav Klimt’s iconic Flower Garden artwork, playing with colour, texture, and nature on canvas.
Included in every ticket is access to the interactive cooking demonstration with Marinda, a printed recipe collection, a spot in the guided botanical Sip & Paint, all necessary canvas and other art materials, a well-cooked meal, and plenty of wine throughout the experience.
