Wonderdal Holiday Hangout: School Holiday Fun at Hazendal Wine Estate

With school holidays around the corner, parents looking for a fun, engaging, and educational experience for their children need look no further than Wonderdal at Hazendal Wine Estate. Wonderdal is hosting their Holiday Hangout running from 31 March to 4 April, designed to keep young minds active while offering parents a well-deserved break.

Wonderdal is an interactive edutainment centre where children aged 5 to 13 can explore the worlds of science, nutrition, and nature through a range of indoor and outdoor activity zones. Guided by the animated Amuki characters and supervised by trained WonderPals, young adventurers can expect a dynamic blend of learning and play. Here’s the Wonderdal Holiday Hangout day programme

Each of the workshops over the five days has the same programme, designed to help children learn and experience nature in a safe, fun environment. The daily schedule is as follows:

9am – 9.15am: Arrival and Welcoming
9.15am – 9.45am: Chef’s Table. A hands-on garden-to-plate experience.
9.45am – 10.30am: Play Session
10.30am – 11am: Snack
11am – 11.45am: Nature Treaure Hunt. Exploring the outdoors through discovery and play.
11.45am – 12.15pm: Leaf Doodling. Encouraging creativity with nature-inspired art.
12.15pm – 12.45pm: Play Session
12.45pm – 1.30pm: Autumn Harvest Party. Includes activities such as pumpkin toss, harvest dash, candy corn relay and capture the pumpkin.
1.30pm – 2pm: Lunch
2pm: Departure
