If sparkling wine puts some extra fizz into your life, then you’ll want to drink your way through the annual Fizzytherapy Festival happening on Saturday, 25 November at Villiera Estate. This gathering is one of the biggest wine events in Cape Town and surrounds.
For one day only, this wine farm in Stellenbosch is celebrating 40 of their still and sparking vintages alongside a lively atmosphere with food and drink, game drives, exquisite tastings and lots more.
Villiera has a strong focus on bottle-fermented sparkling wines. A joint venture with a French champagne specialist in the mid 1980’s culminated in some of the finest Cap Classiques in the country. The current highly acclaimed range includes Tradition Brut, Tradition Rosé Brut, Shooting Star (low alcohol), Monro Brut (Vintage Prestige cuvee), and Villiera Brut Natural (additive free) and more recent additions, Pearls of Nectar and Pearls of Nectar Rosé.
