Funland Carnival at Kronendal Primary: A Weekend of Family Fun in Hout Bay

Kronendal Primary School in Hout Bay returns with another exciting fun-filled edition of the Funland Carnival. Enjoy two weekends of family-friendly fun from 21 to 23 February, and 28 February to 2 March, with thrilling carnival rides, delicious food, and a relaxing atmosphere for both kids and adults. Thrilling carnival rides and games for all ages

Whether you’re a thrill-seeker or just looking for a relaxing family outing, this year’s Funland Carnival has something for everyone. Children (and adults) can enjoy a variety of classic carnival rides such as the Tornado, Big Swing, Planes, Kiddie Swing, Jets, Scrambler, Break Dancer, and Mexican Hat. Food trucks, a beer tent, and spots to unwind

While the kids are having the time of their lives on the rides, parents can unwind at the beer tent or settle down on a picnic blanket for a wide selection of snacks and street food fare from the food trucks. The beer tent will be open for extended hours with live sports screening for extra entertainment.

How to book tickets

We highly recommend buying your rider bands in advance, at least a week in advance to enjoy special rates. Rider bands will be available at full price at the event
