Christmas in July Afternoon Tea at One&Only Cape Town

One&Only Cape Town is bringing on the festive cheer with their annual Christmas in July afternoon tea experience taking place on 27 and 28 July 2024. On the cards is an array of savoury treats, carvery specialities, and decadent desserts crafted by the pastry team. Here’s what you can look forward to.

A festive-themed Afternoon Tea for one weekend only

Each year in winter, the resort adds a festive twist to their afternoon tea experience for one weekend only. Guests can start the experience with a welcome cocktail before dining on a selection of slow-roasted cuts cooked perfectly from the carvery station. The savoury creations feature a truffled egg mayonnaise sandwich, confit duck with kumquat compote on a brioche toast, and lamb shoulder rillette on a gourmet vetkoek among others.

The event takes place at Vista Bar and Lounge boasting spectacular views of the canals, the city, and Table Mountain. Comfy lounges and table seating cater to every visitor.
