Cape Mental Health is making the most of summer with the very first open-air cinema screening of How The Grinch Stole Christmas at Curro Century City. Entertainment, fun games, food and drink are on the cards. Plus there will be loads of amazing prizes offered on the night, and a special ticket discount for What’s on in Cape Town readers! A summery Sunday evening picnic for the entire family
How the Grinch Stole Christmas is a fun holiday movie about the Grinch, a grumpy green creature who hates Christmas and decides to ruin it for the cheerful Whos in Whoville. He sneaks into their homes on Christmas Eve to steal decorations, gifts, and food. But when the Whos still celebrate with joy despite losing everything, the Grinch realizes Christmas is about more than just stuff.
Tuck into easy streetfood from the food vendors
Pack your own picnic basket or choose from a variety of delicious treats available from the food and drink vendors on-site. On offer are hot chocolate, popcorn, street food, and snacks to add to the cosy atmosphere of this heart-warming evening. Blankets and backrests are available for rent to enhance comfort. Note that taking along your own chairs is not permitted.

A film screening for a good cause
More than just a movie night, this event is a chance to support worthy upliftment projects run by Cape Mental Health. All proceeds go towards providing hope and dignity to vulnerable children, youth, and adults with mental disabilities.
