Guests can look forward to an exceptional tasting journey featuring more than 20 carefully curated French champagne houses. This year, two standout festival moments which debuted in Johannesburg will arrive in Cape Town for the first time, offering a truly exclusive experience.

2. First taste of Chef Wandile Mabaso’s groundbreaking French-made champagne

A highlight of the evening is the chance to sample Chef Wandile Mabaso’s newly launched French-made champagne. Revealed exclusively at this year’s festival, the wine marks a significant milestone for African culinary innovation and is a rare opportunity for guests to savour something truly pioneering.

3. Shop limited-edition Rich Mnisi designs

Fashion designer Rich Mnisi created a limited-edition collection of silk scarves and pocket squares especially for the Absa Champagne in Africa Festival. These collectable pieces will be on show and for sale as part of contemporary African design and offer a stylish keepsake from the event.

Limited tickets are available for the Absa Champagne in Africa Festival. Dress code for the event is “French chic meets African luxury.”
