Located on the picturesque Lourensford Wine Estate in Somerset West, the Lourensford Market has become one of the Helderberg’s most popular weekend destinations. Combining food, wine, shopping, and entertainment in a scenic outdoor setting, the market offers a lively yet relaxed atmosphere surrounded by landscaped gardens, oak trees, and sprawling lawns.
With more than 60 permanent stalls and a rotating mix of pop-up vendors, visitors can browse everything from handmade crafts and local artwork to artisanal produce and unusual speciality finds. The food offering is equally varied, with estate wines, craft beer, sweet treats, and street-food style options available throughout the day.
Live music from local DJs, acoustic performers, and bands adds to the atmosphere, while family-friendly activities, including jungle gyms, putt-putt, art jamming, archery, and interactive fountains, make it an easy outing for all ages.
