Here’s everything you need to know.

Indulge in Creativity with Joel Mamboka
Whether you’ve never painted before or have years of experience, everyone is welcome to this inspiring workshop experience. This is a chance to relax, learn new artistic techniques, and connect with your inner creativity in a beautiful space.
This event’s guest artist, Joel Mamboka has exhibited in prestigious galleries across the world – from New York to Portugal, Kenya, and France, among others. This workshop is a rare opportunity to learn from him and gain deeper insight into the Sape Culture from the Democratic Republic of Congo, which deeply inspires his work.
Mamboka uses oil paint, fabrics and found objects to create stories that exhibit a dynamic exploration of identity, culture and style that is deeply rooted in African heritage. His portraits often depict individuals in moments of joy, connection or introspection and he often uses vintage wallpaper textures with peeling surfaces and intricate designs to evoke nostalgia and a sense of history.
All materials, canvases, delicious cake, and a choice of wine or hot chocolate are included in the ticket price. Purchase your tickets now to enjoy this inspiring experience.
