The 6th Annual Cape Town Resort Collections Brings Haute Looks for the Holiday

Mark your calendars for 6 December 2025, as some of South Africa’s leading designers head to the Mother City for the 6th annual Cape Town Resort Collections. This year’s showcase will take place at the President Hotel in Bantry Bay, and on the programme is a dazzling fusion of fashion, art, and culture, which honours local creativity and craftsmanship.

A pioneering and collaborative platform for African fashion

Over the past six years, the Cape Town Resort Collections has established itself as a premier platform for both emerging and established designers. “Cape Town in summer has a singular mood. We wanted to capture that with collections made for the city’s light and lifestyle, and to pair it with a real commitment to circular fashion,” says founder Gavin Rajah.

The oceanfront setting pairs runway energy with an on-site pop up store focused on re-sale and archive pieces, inviting guests to shop more consciously while celebrating local design.

This year’s program also shines a spotlight on Futurewear, with a curated capsule from the mentorship cohort’s rising designers. The initiative nurtures the next generation of creative entrepreneurs through mentorship and practical industry exposure.
