Vault On Bree, Cape Town’s newest creative third space, continues to champion the city’s most exciting talent. Built for collaboration and South African-led storytelling, the space has quickly become a meeting point where local creativity sets the tone.
That spirit came through in its partnership with Wanda LePhoto. After performing at the venue’s opening night, Wanda returned as the first artist to create a signature piece for the space – a clear signal of the future-forward collaborations that Vault On Bree remained committed to.
First Thursdays at Vault On Bree, ft Rosey Gold and Mandy Jade
This February, the space comes alive with Vault On Bree’s First Thursdays experience, where artists, designers and DJs come together to collaborate for a vibey evening.
The next edition will feature Rosey Gold in collaboration with G-Star. The European-based South African DJ’s signature is dynamic sets that blend electronic music with Afro house and the vibrant sounds of the Southern African diaspora. Shaped by a childhood of travel and diverse cultural influences, her sound bridges texture, rhythm and emotion.
In 2025, Rosey Gold performed at Hï Ibiza and Chinois Ibiza, alongside sold-out shows in London, earning recognition as Beatport’s One to Watch.
Her Vault on Bree appearance serves as an unofficial prelude to her Kunye performance later that weekend, with Mandy Jade opening the evening on the decks. The night also supports the venue’s Open Decks project, an initiative designed to give emerging DJs a space to experiment and grow.

Vault on Bree: A concept space where creativity and culture collide
In partnership with Phil Kramer, the sound designer behind the system at One Park, the Vault on Bree space includes a listening bar that puts music and atmosphere at its heart. Listening bars are intimate spaces dedicated to high-quality sound, inviting people to slow down, pay attention, and experience music in a deeper, more intentional way.
The Vault on Bree is a space that’s meant to evolve. Over time, it will host new exhibitions, activations, and collaborations that reflect the city’s creative pulse. It’s a place that keeps finding new ways to connect and inspire.
As Vault on Bree’s first activation partner, G-Star has hosted two appearances inside the space this year, and many more creative individuals and organisations are set to take to the space in the new year.
