Nobu Cape Town is set to open its doors to a new daytime experience: lunch, served for the very first time from Friday, 13 March – and continuing every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, from 12 noon through until 3pm. Bathed in the gentle glow of Cape Town’s midday sun, the restaurant’s iconic double‑volume space transforms into a warm, inviting sanctuary; the perfect canvas for Nobu’s world‑famous dishes to shine.

For those who prefer to dine in the open air, the experience extends onto the terrace, where tables overlook the resort’s gentle, glistening waterways. Meanwhile, for guests slipping out of the office or seeking a quieter escape, Nobu Lounge awaits. A speakeasy‑esque enclave tucked just beyond the main dining room, it’s intimate, mood‑lit, and effortlessly stylish, and the ideal stop‑in for a quick cocktail and a few pieces of sushi before the day resumes.

The menu is a love letter to Nobu’s global classics. Delicate slices of Yellowtail Jalapeño arrive layered with citrus and heat; a dish that has followed Nobu across continents, its flavours as recognisable as they are addictive.
