Norval Foundation is opening up its famous destination to showcase a unique once-off fashion show experience set against contemporary art collections. South African designer Kat Van Duinen is doing a special showing of her fashion label at the museum.
Anchored in a modern and accessible approach to easy glamour, the Kat Van Duinen woman is one that is always event ready. Signature slinky silhouettes, party dresses, sensual silk moments, and voluminous sleeves, there are elevated pieces for every special occasion at this atelier.
It’s hard to turn a blind eye to Van Duinen’s plunge neck sequin dresses, tulle numbers, and fresh twists to the functional crisp white shirts that are all crafted by South African artisans.
The dress code for the event is glamorous, so dust of off your special looks for the evening. Drinks are served with snacks upon arrival in the beautiful setting. Get there early to take a stroll through the magnificent Sculpture Garden with its permanent works.
The fashion show starts at 7:30pm promptly. A cash bar will be available to purchase additional drinks. Parking is limited, so we recommend arriving early or using Uber, and printed or digital tickets are required at the entrance.
