Zandvliet Wine Estate is a historic wine farm known as the "home of Shiraz".
Zandvliet combines winemaking expertise with a unique limestone-rich terroir that enhances the quality of its wines. Established in 1870, this family-owned estate has a long tradition of producing exceptional wines while offering visitors a warm and welcoming experience amidst scenic vineyards.
Visitors to Zandvliet can enjoy intimate wine tastings in the estate's atmospheric Kalkveld Lounge, sampling the estate's acclaimed Shiraz and other varietals. Beyond wine, the estate offers engaging activities such as tastings, pairings and a tour through the old (recently rediscovered) Muscat tanks. Platters are available, and guests can enjoy the unique opportunity to blend their own bottle of wine, artistically seal it with wax, and take home their personalised creation.
