Yogaville is an internationally certified Yoga Alliance yoga studio offering classes in a variety of styles.
Their two main styles include the traditional Vinyasa (freestyle Ashtanga) and Hatha.
The Sanskrit word haṭha means ""force"" and alludes to a system of physical techniques. Because it's done slowly and poses are held for longer, Hatha yoga allows for more stretching and places special emphasis on controlled breathing, posture and building core strength. Hatha has hundreds of poses, including well-known ones such as salute to the Sun sequence.
Vinyasa means “breath-synchronized movement” where one moves from one pose to the next on an inhale or exhale. The purpose of Vinyasa is to create heat in the body, which leads to purification through increased circulation and sweating.
