The WXV series is part of World Rugby’s clear mission: to raise the profile and competitiveness of women’s 15s.
The series raises awareness by providing the global platform between Women’s Rugby World Cups to increase the reach, impact, and value of the sport, growing the game as a whole. This spring, South Africa hosts the six-team second-tier WXV 2 competition in the Western Cape, with the Springbok Women joined in the competition by Scotland, Japan, Australia, Wales and Italy.
On 5 October rugby fans are treated to an exciting double bill with Japan vs. Scotland and South Africa vs. Australia. See the incredible forces in female rugby go head-to-head on South African soil.
