For another year in a row, The Feminine Divine welcome all to celebrate World Belly Dance Day with them. Share in the magic, beauty and vibrancy that belly dancing brings and witness womxn from all walks of life as they transform from housewives, lawyers, mothers, nurses, police officers and academics, into bejewelled goddesses.
Watch as they embrace their bodies in all their glorious variations, leaving inspiration and self-acceptance in their wake. Expect stunning live belly dance performances from more than 20 studios, featuring dancers ranging from beginner-level through to the Western Cape's top award-winning queens.
There are also various belly dance inspired and related items available for purchase at the venue. Those who wish to have a stall at the event must request a vendors application form via email. All the proceeds made by The Feminine Divine group on the evening will be donated to Rape Crisis, who have committed themselves to supporting and aiding victims of sexual assault in the Western Cape.
