Winter Concert 2, held on 6 June, stars Durban-born soprano, Bronwen Forbay as soloist with Yasuo Shinozaki conducting. Forbay's soprano has been described in OPERA Magazine as "that of a singer at the top of her game," and paired with Japanese-born, internationally acclaimed Shinozaki's emotional and direct conduction, is sure to wow the audience.
The programme features arias from Bizet’s 'Carmen', Faure’s 'Pavanne', Cilea’s 'Adriana Lecouvreur', and Gounod’s 'Romeo et Juliette'. Tchaikovsky’s 'Symphony No. 3' closes the concert after interval.
