Waterfront Kayak offers a guided sea‑kayaking adventure launching directly from the V&A Waterfront, pairing calm, open‑ocean paddling with postcard views of the Atlantic seaboard, Signal Hill and Lion’s Head.
Led by qualified guides and designed for beginners as well as seasoned paddlers, daily departures welcome guests from age eight and up. It’s a sociable, low‑impact way to experience Cape Town from sea level, popular for couples, families, birthdays and team‑building groups.
Sessions depart from Shop No. 8, Quay 5 at the Waterfront; you’ll check in, sign the electronic indemnity and receive a short briefing before launching in stable, double kayaks with guides paddling alongside the group.
Practical tips: dress for spray and sun, use secure footwear, and pack a light windbreaker as conditions can change.
