Just in time for the festive season, the Waterford Estate in Stellenbosch has launched a new selection of wines for every taste as well as a Wine Drive Safari experience.
The collection of wines includes whites such as Waterford Rose-Mary, the Waterford Old Vine Chenin blanc, the Waterford Estate Chardonnay 2019 and the Waterford Estate's Grenache Noir Single Vineyard. For those who prefer red, there is the Waterford Estate Cabernet Sauvignon which is a crowd favourite.
And in terms of summer adventures, Waterford Estate now offers the Wine Drive Safari, a three-hour drive through the estate on a Land Rover. Visitors taste wines in the vineyards in which they are grown, learn about the area, dig into a gourmet platter and end with the wine and chocolate tasting that the estate is famous for.
Vouchers for the Wine Drive Safari are available from the Waterford Estate and the new range of wines is available for delivery both countrywide and internationally.
The Waterford Estates is located in the Blaauwklippen Valley, is owned by the Ord Family and has been operating since 1998. Tastings and the Porcupine Trail Walk also take place at the venue regularly.
