The Waterblommetjie, a unique local delicacy, is in season during South Africa's winter and is currently being harvested for use in various winter and spring dishes. Rhebokskloof Estate is hosting the Waterblommetjie Festival to celebrate this cherished natural wonder.
The festival includes:
- Waterblommetjie wine pairing.
Guests can enjoy a unique experience with an award-winning, home-grown range of wines paired with a selection of waterblommetjie-inspired delights. The wine pairings are hosted by Cellarmaster Rolanie Lotz.
The wine pairings take place at the following times:
- 9:30am - 10:30am
- 11am - 12pm
- 12:30pm - 1pm
- 1:30pm - 2pm
This wine-pairing experience occurs throughout the day and hosts a maximum of 50 people per session. Prior booking is essential.
Rhebokskloof also offers a unique spring-season Waterblommetjie-inspired menu. Due to limited spaces, bookings are essential to ensure the freshest ingredients can be prepared in time.
