Vintage with Love, a Cape Town non-profit founded by Leigh Ord and Jacquie Myburgh over a decade ago, expands its annual fundraising sale into a two-part programme called The Big Week.
The Big Show, a new addition created with Bridget Pickering of Ruff Tung/Therapy Boutique, is a fashion show and charity auction at Beluga on 20 August, featuring local designers working in sustainable fashion. The Big Sale, the organisation's long-running end-of-season clothing sale, runs from 27 to 30 August at the Cape Town Cruise Terminal.
Proceeds fund literacy and education programmes for South African children, including partner charities Read to Rise, which places books and mini-libraries in classrooms, and Home from Home, which provides community-based foster care for vulnerable children.
