The V&A Waterfront gives its annual Busker Festival to Cape Town's street performers, musicians, magicians, dancers and entertainers. Performances take place across the precinct over three days, with no tickets required.
The festival is built around spontaneous shows from a mix of established buskers and rising local performers, giving visitors free live entertainment while performers build their audiences. No programme or performer lineup has been published yet, and the Waterfront has said further announcements will follow.
The weekend sits within a wider run of free live performance events at the Waterfront, which includes the Take the Stage emerging artist showcases and the Silo Concerts later in the season.
