Up the Creek is the ultimate outdoor music celebration. Loyal creekers, new creekers and everyone in between is welcome as Up the Creek returns in February 2025.
Established in 1990, Up the Creek is the second longest-running outdoor music festival in South Africa and is set annually on the banks of the magical Breede River, about 23km outside Swellendam in the Western Cape. This is a great event to enjoy as it includes four days of great music, good food, chilled vibes and short queues.
Up The Creek 2025 phase 1 artists include - Australia's Hollow Coves, and local legends Francois Van Coke, Matthew Mole, The Black Cat Bones, Albert Frost, Droomsindroom, Die Piesangskille, Unyazi, Ben Dey, Murray, Lucy Kruger and the Lost Boys, Warongx, Freddy L, and Luukhanyo & The Hii Rollers.
There are four general campsite options available and attendees can decide to camp with their car or not.
