Event information
The UCT Ibuyambo Orchestra honours Madosini's musical journey and life narrative. This performance called, “Umoya uthethile” (The spirit has spoken), seeks to recognize Madosini's contribution towards preserving Xhosa uhadi and umrhubhe bow music and culture.
The show is multimedia with a diversity of instruments, dance, singing and acting, celebrating Madosini’s lively character as a storyteller and performer.
