The Ukukhanya Arts Project is a unique fusion of art and immunology.
The Ukukhanya is a non-profit project which aims to drive change by using the arts as a powerful tool for transformation. Their Heritage Day event celebrates the transformative power of creative expression in illuminating the complex science of the human immune system. Through captivating performances and stunning photography, the project aims to bridge the gap between art and science.
Featured in the celebration is a theatre performance from the Amathunzi Arts & Development Centre, jazz from Babalwa Mentjies and the Little Giants Jazz Band, poetry from Abueng Junio and Fivio, dance by Future Line Arts Academy and photography by Clive Gray.
