The UCT Symphonic Wind Ensemble is conducted by Brandon Phillips, who was appointed at the beginning of this year as Head of Woodwind and Ensembles Conductor at UCT.
Brandon is no stranger to local audiences having been principal bassoonist of the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra, and Artistic Director and Conductor of the Cape Town Philharmonic Youth Orchestra.
