The highly rated facilities and staff resulted in the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa awarding Trail’s End Bike Hotel with a five star rating in the Backpackers and Hostels Category.
At Trail’s End Bike Hotel, accommodation includes a selection of 16 rooms, all fully serviced and ready for your perfect stay. The ground floor rooms (1–8) offer versatile layouts perfect for larger travel parties, offering shared facilities with separate men’s and ladies bathrooms, including a wheel-chair friendly unit. The upstairs mezzanine level (rooms 9-16) offers more conventional layouts of double, family and team rooms – all of which have en-suite bathrooms and air conditioning.

The Cecil Nurse Conference Centre, holding up to 80 people, run fully on solar to avoid mid-presentation interruptions from Eskom, but they offer in-house team building and accommodation for all your delegates on site. This means you can foster good relations between your team members as well as dealing with important business.
The venue is also ideal for some fun team building activities that will get both your mind and body active. Whether you want to hire bicycles and explore the Grabouw Forest Trails in the beautiful mountains, have a crash course in archery or a fitness class, or have a structured team building session
The hotel is also the perfect place to tie the knot. With accommodation for 64 people on site, a beautiful outdoor gazebo and lawn next to the river for the ceremony and an option of two indoor areas for dining and dancing.
The restaurant at the hotel fosters the passion to provide healthy, great-tasting and wholesome meals for all guests staying at Trail’s End to enjoy. Where possible, all of the ingredients are locally and sustainably sourced. In addition to the restaurant, the hotel is committed to the mental wellness of its guests by providing relaxation areas, wellness centers and swimming pools to help the mind unwind.
The hotel has grown and evolved in leaps and bounds since it opened in 2015, constantly adding new features to make for a more enjoyable stay, especially for outdoor enthusiasts. The addition of the pump track, training pool, climbing wall, gym, Pilates studio and in-house masseurs, as well as the latest addition of the First Bicycle Museum in Africa, you may find you never want to leave.
