The Toyota Stellenbosch Woordfees' Langtafel is an annual event bringing people together in a celebration of the history and heritage of South African culture.
The Langtafel (long table) is set amidst the charming old buildings in Ryneveld Street under the oak trees and involves a variety of foods cooked over an open fire, From traditional tandoor and braai to West Coast fish prepared on the coals, this event celebrates the culinary diversity of the nation.
This year, a lively outdoor braai is hosted by Johnny Hamman from John Joseph Anatomy of Food. Guests can savour this "fire food" while enjoying the company of new friends and fine wine.
It is recommended to book in advance as spaces are limited. Tickets include a glass of wine or sparkling wine.
